Admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2006, Sasha Begum brings nearly two decades of experience in business and international law. She advises clients ranging from multinational corporations to emerging startups on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, corporate governance, and strategic risk management. Her practice spans business acquisitions, mergers, corporate restructurings, and other sophisticated transactions, where she is recognized for her ability to develop and execute forward-looking strategies that protect assets and advance business goals.
Sasha began her legal career in the Houston office of Bracewell LLP, where she practiced in the Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Oil & Gas group. She then joined Baker & McKenzie’s Major Projects practice, advising on large-scale international transactions. Following her tenure in private practice, Sasha served as Associate General Counsel for Cardtronics Inc. (NASDAQ: CATM), a global financial services company, where she advised on corporate, commercial, and compliance matters for six years. In 2014, she founded her own firm in San Antonio, Texas, with the mission of combining big-firm sophistication with personalized counsel for businesses at every stage of growth.
EDUCATION
She completed her B.A. with a double major in Philosophy and Psychology at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. Additionally, Sasha obtained a J.D. equivalent for the European Union at Universidad Alfonso X in Madrid, Spain.
She is able to conduct business, draft agreements and negotiate seamlessly in both English and Spanish.
