With over 17 years of experience in business and international law, Sasha Begum has experience in a wide range of domestic and international transactions. She is devoted to both her large company clients and startups, which she assists from the ground up.
Sasha started her career at Bracewell’s Houston, Texas office, working in the Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Oil & Gas Practice Group. From there, she moved to Baker & McKenzie’s Major Projects Practice Group. After that, Sasha went to work as Associate General Counsel for Cardtronics Inc. (NASDAQ: CATM) for six years before deciding to start her own firm in San Antonio, Texas.
Sasha made the decision to pursue law after an attorney failed to protect her mother’s business from liabilities in its sale. Since then, Sasha has carved a niche for herself in the legal industry with her passion for assisting businesses and individuals in navigating legal issues and protecting their assets through thoroughly drafted contracts and wills.
Sasha is fluent/native in Spanish and English.
EDUCATION
She completed her B.A. with a double major in Philosophy and Psychology at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. Additionally, Sasha obtained a J.D. equivalent for the European Union at Universidad Alfonso X in Madrid, Spain.
She is able to conduct business, draft agreements and negotiate seamlessly in both English and Spanish.

Juanita Pelaez has extensive experience in business law and estate planning. She is a passionate advocate for her clients and has a proven track record of success. She’s driven by the desire to help individuals and families secure their futures through strategic business and estate plans.

Juanita Peláez attended St. Mary’s University School of Law and graduated in 2008.

Juanita is dedicated to giving back to her community. She serves as the Chairman of the Board of CASA (Child Advocates of San Antonio), an organization dedicated to helping neglected and abused children.

Thereafter, Sasha went to work as Associate General Counsel for Cardtronics Inc. (NASDAQ: CATM) and served in that capacity for 6 years before deciding to start her own firm in San Antonio, Texas, where she attended high school at St. Mary’s Hall.
